FULL EVENT PROGRAM FOR JUNCTION ARTS FESTIVAL 2025 UNVEILED

Marking 15 vibrant years of creativity, the Junction Arts Festival has officially unveiled its complete 2025 program—and it’s the biggest one yet.

Running across two weekends from 12–21 September, the festival is set to once again light up Launceston with a dynamic mix of art, music, and performance. Presented by Events Tasmania, Junction 2025 brings together over 250 local and national artists, delivering everything from bold new works and large-scale installations to reflective pieces that honour Junction’s past.

Festival Chair Rebecca Birrell says this milestone program is a celebration of the community’s energy and resilience:

“The two weekends feature reflective works that honour the Junction journey, along with bold and immersive performances, including the Tasmanian premiere of Eness’s Airship Orchestra. We are committed to producing accessible and transformative experiences that celebrate the joy of spring and the vibrancy of our community.”

Whether you’re a long-time fan or a curious first-timer, Junction 2025 invites you to connect, celebrate and immerse yourself in Launceston’s cultural pulse.

Mayor Matthew Garwood reflects on the festival’s impact: “Reaching 15 years is a remarkable achievement. Junction continues to highlight the incredible talent in Tasmania and the important role the arts play in bringing people together.”

With events suitable for all ages, from family-friendly adventures to late-night performances, the 2025 edition is packed with moments to share.

Tickets go on sale on 7 August at 7:00 am.
