JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ ANNOUNCES AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND TOUR FOR 2027

Swedish-Argentinian singer-songwriter José González will return to Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2027 for his first Australian tour since March 2024, with headline performances at Sydney Opera House and acclaimed venues across both countries. The tour follows the release of his fifth studio album, Against The Dying Of The Light, in March 2026, which explores artificial intelligence, technological responsibility, and the challenges facing humanity through his signature fingerpicked guitar, understated vocals, and thoughtful songwriting. Fans can expect an intimate and captivating live experience featuring beloved tracks “Heartbeats” and “Crosses”, alongside new material. The tour kicks off in Adelaide on 24 February, then travels to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, before heading to Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Tickets go on general sale Friday 30 October at 11 am local time, with presales commencing Tuesday 27 October.
