SPIN DOCTORS RETURN DOWN UNDER FOR 35 YEARS OF POCKET FULL OF KRYPTONITE

It’s been more than three decades since Pocket Full of Kryptonite changed the alt-rock landscape, and now—35 years later—Spin Doctors are gearing up to bring their iconic debut album back to Australia and New Zealand for an 11-date run in May 2026. It marks their first Australian shows since 1993 and their first-ever visit to New Zealand, giving fans a long-overdue chance to relive the album that defined an era.

Armed with era-defining hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” Pocket Full of Kryptonite shot straight to #1 in both Australia and New Zealand, earning Platinum and Gold certifications respectively. For many fans, these songs are the soundtrack of the 90s—bright, hook-soaked, endlessly fun—and now they’re finally returning to the stage where they first made their mark.

Frontman Chris Barron says he’s buzzing to get back:
“It’s been something like 30 years since we played Australia, and we’ve never played New Zealand! Way too long! I’m beside myself with anticipation… I can’t wait to rock Pocket Full of Kryptonite!!!”

Drummer Aaron Comess shares the sentiment:
“We’ll be playing the album in its entirety, along with other songs and even a few covers we’ve been playing lately. It’s going to be a really special tour.”

And guitarist Eric Schenkman sums it up simply:
“The band has never sounded better… see you there!”

From Fremantle to Auckland, Spin Doctors will roll out a full-throttle celebration of the songs that shaped their legacy—plus deep cuts, surprises, and the groove-heavy energy that turned them into global stars.

Whether you discovered them in 1991 or just rediscovered them on your favourite playlist, this is one tour you can’t afford to miss.
